No rest for the weary
Well, you may have noticed the dearth of shows from Brian and I, and that’s because life kicks us in the teeth.
I FINALLY got settled into my home, got a new cat, dealt with financial crises, sweated and anguished over the political stuff coming out of all the states lately, and so on. I’m sure Brian will add what he has had happening to him lately soon.
But the real announcements are these: I’ve set up a Forum and a Book of Shadows on this site. The Forum is a continuation of a forum that went defunct about a year ago, and the members of that forum have been trying to get it back for months. We finally, collectively, determined that the administrator of that forum will not even acknowledge we exist, so we have taken steps to rebuild the best parts of that forum, namely the community.
I’ve been working night and day for about a week, and it’s 90% finished, all it needs is posts and members.
The Book of Shadows is a Wiki I installed, but I don’t know if I will be continuing with it. It’s finicky and hard to use, and given that there’s a lot of people who want to upload tons of material to it, I need one that’s dummy proof. So I’ll look around.
But, those are primarily why I haven’t been able to focus on the podcast. We WILL do some more shows, but you know how Spring is, everything goes nuts for a little while, then settles down.
